Summer Skin Care Tips!

Eat the right foods
A healthy diet can work wonders for your skin. Stimulate your collagen growth with foods rich in antioxidants; including leafy green vegetables, blueberries, cantaloupe and other melons. Salmon and eggs are excellent sources of protein, which helps nourish the skin and repair damage.

Simplify your makeup routine
In the summer heat, your foundation will often ‘slide’ on the surface of your skin creating a streaking appearance. I suggest sticking to the basics: mascara, lip balm, concealer and switch to a bronzing blush to show off your natural beauty this summer. I also recommending using Eco Tan’s Face Tan Water to keep a natural glow on your skin without clogging your pores!

Beware of the sun
Sun is the number one cause of premature ageing! It is important to use an organic sunscreen everyday. Be sure not to forget your ears, neck, chest, hands and forearms as they are often overlooked and are the first places to show ageing. Wearing protective gear like a hat and sunglasses also prevents sun-damage.

Use a toner right after cleansing your skin
Toners help restore the pH balance to your skin, which makes your skin surface less susceptible to unwanted bacterial growth. This is a must for oilier skin types.
